MISSION
- The scope of system area comprises all activities and tasks related to the system requirements elicitation, definition and review, system architecture design and implementation, system integration testing and system qualification testing.
- Specific tooling and standards for all the tasks and activities carried out within the system area shall be handled by the roles defined, such as specific requirements tools, specific architecture designing tools, integration tools, and validation and verification tools.
Technologies used for system development depend on the embedded software product that will be designed.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead the System project team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation.
- Help drive the development and maintain processes and methods for product and technology development & documentation.
- Coordinate with Test and Validation team, for the activities on System Integration and System Qualification, maintaining full traceability.
- Coordinate with HW, SW, MECH and FuSa teams for the deployment of the requirements and architecture, following the SPICE methodology along each technical area.
- Guide and oversee the development of System requirements and System Elements, interfaces, and specifications necessary to maintain the consistency and integrity of the product developments.
- Guarantee that all the milestones included in the project management plan are going to be fulfilled in time, including all the internal activities and customer expectations.
- Guarantee that the Quality processes (SPICE, ISO 26262 ), are followed and implemented in time.
- Follow the progress of the project through periodical report meetings according to the established FDS phases.
- Assure that the System releases are following the Feature Release Proposal and the Release Content Specification agreed with the customer and all the team.
- Manage project technical risks.
- Perform the System Reviews for System Requirements and System Architecture and coordinate with all team members involved.
- Work to develop partners and suppliers, when applicable to provide the best technical and cost solution.
- Contribute with the analysis of Change Requests and the impact to the development cost.
- Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices.
- Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
- Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

**Academic background**: University Engineering Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications.

**Languages**: Fluent local language and Fluent English (written & spoken)

**Experience**: 5 years of experience in engineering development positions

With participation in SW, HW, MECH

**Travel**: Availability to travel
