Postdoctoral Researcher in Materials Development for Energy Applications

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Main job functions**:
- In-depth synthesis and characterization of tailored reactive materials and composites
- Evaluation of materials performances in terms of efficiency, reversibility and cyclability
- Implementation of a strategy for materials optimization (e.g., tuning microstructures, adding dopants, catalysts, etc.)
- Fundamental understanding and evaluation of the key parameters affecting the efficiency of the process.
- Identifying pathways for scaling-up material’s synthesis for testing in designed laboratory scale reactors.

- PhD in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical engineering, Applied Physics or related fields.
- Experience in inorganic materials synthesis, modification and characterization.
- A team player who can collaborate with other groups, technological centres, and industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
