CIC energiGUNE is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on the synthesis of nanomaterials for the development of high-energy and high-power metal-ion capacitors.
Job functions:
- Design and synthesis of faradaic nanomaterials for electrochemical energy storage.
- Synthesis of metal alloys and hybrid nanomaterials to be used either as anode or cathode.
- Complete physicochemical characterization of materials.
- Develop scalable synthesis routes for the promising materials.
- Electrode preparation, coin cell and monolayer pouch cell fabrication, and electrochemical testing of nanomaterials.
- Process and analyze the results obtained from the characterization tests, give conclusions, and provide ideas to improve nanomaterials performance.
- Participate in communication with companies and proposals preparation when required.
