**About the Role**
- Supporting the month-end process and financial reporting deliverables for the Spanish entity and other European entities
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts and external returns
- Liaising and working with external auditors to ensure we continue to meet our compliance requirements in each jurisdiction
- A key role in developing and optimising financial reporting and accounting processes
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and continuous improvements initiatives
- Assisting external advisors prepare corporate tax returns and assisting with the review of transfer pricing documentation
- Assisting with the calculation, payment of corporate tax payments on account and R&D tax claim
- Ensuring invoices to and from the Spanish entity meet the correct VAT requirements
- Providing timely information to external advisors for VAT monthly and annual submissions
- Assisting with the timely provision of information for VAT SII reporting
- Assist with Spanish tax as required
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with colleagues across finance globally

**What we are looking for**
- A qualified accountant with significant experience in financial reporting and compliance
- Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and Spanish GAAP
- Working knowledge of Spanish VAT, corporate taxation and transfer pricing requirements
- Able to engage with and influence colleagues of all levels of the organisation
- Strong problem-solving and organisation skills, including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Solid analytical skills and ability to conduct complex data analysis, which may require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
- Someone with the drive and determination to succeed in our fast paced and ever-growing environment
- Proactive, self-confident and assertive team player with high degree of integrity and ability to independently solve problems
- Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and out-of-the-box thinking
- Willing to assume accountability and responsibility
- Ability to operate with different cultures on an international level in a dynamic working environment
- Strong IT skills and working knowledge of accounting software are an advantage
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Willing to travel as required to meet business needs
- Right to work in Spain
