As a Senior Finance Analyst supporting Alcon’s Surgical Business Unit, you will be trusted to drive strategic decision-making by analyzing commercial opportunities with a financial and profitability perspective. You will act as a key business partner to the Surgical Sales team and the Finance Business Planning and Analysis Manager (BPA), contributing to business growth.

In this role, a typical day will include:

- Partnering with the Sales team to review and analyze the profitability of sales opportunities, supporting business case development and strategic planning.
- Participating in business reviews with senior management and supporting month-end closing tasks in collaboration with the Accounting and BPA teams.
- Acting as a backup to the local BPA, with exposure to European senior management and the opportunity to evolve into a BPA role.
- Coordinating with the EMEA Accounting Center of Excellence to manage reports and KPIs related to Equipment Revenue.
- Monitoring contract performance, providing insights to the Finance and Sales Committee, and recommending actions for underperforming contracts.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with corporate finance policies.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

- Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. Business school background is a plus.
- Experience: 3-4+ years in financial analysis, ideally in healthcare or Big 4. Experience partnering with Sales teams is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint is mandatory. Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English is required. Portuguese is a plus.
- Behaviors: Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking, precision, and curiosity. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build strong relationships and thrive under pressure.
