And at the **European Shared Services Center**based in Cornellà de Llobregat, with more than 300 employees, we support the group's various subsidiaries of all Europe and other regions. We are looking for a **Credit Analyst**based in **Barcelona**.

The Credit Analyst plays a key role in assessing and managing credit risk for both new and existing customers across all business units and product lines in Europe.

Operating in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, the Credit Analyst serves as the primary liaison for credit-related matters, collaborating closely with Business Managers, Customer Service, and Collections teams.

This role is instrumental in shaping the credit exposure of the European customer portfolio, managing SAP order blocks, and advising the commercial team on appropriate payment terms and risk strategies.

**As Credit Analyst, you will**:

- Perform in-depth financial analysis to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients, leveraging data from external credit rating agencies, customer financial statements, and internal systems. Ensure timely responses to credit workflows in line with established procedures and approval limits.
- Conduct regular reviews of assigned account portfolios to evaluate credit risk exposure. Identify potential bad debt and communicate findings to the Order-to-Cash (OTC) teams and Commercial Management, recommending appropriate risk mitigation actions.
- Collaborate with Business Areas to develop tailored credit strategies that align with corporate credit guidelines. Ensure that credit limits, check rules, block reasons, payment terms, risk labels, and related system indicators accurately reflect the current status of each account.
- Monitor compliance with key credit processes and policies (e.g., Global Enterprise Processes, Credit Granting, Workflow Routing), and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Actively participate in cross-functional and cross-business initiatives aimed at enhancing work processes and supporting strong accounts receivable (AR) performance.

**You will have**:

- ** Languages**:Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages is a strong advantage.
- ** Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- ** Experience**:Minimum of 3 years in Credit & Collections, preferably within a Shared Services Center or multinational environment.
- ** Accounting Knowledge**specifically in trade receivables. Understanding of financial statements, industry trends, and external credit rating reports
- ** Systems Expertise**: Proficient in SAP/FSCM with working knowledge of SAP BW reporting tools.
- ** Technical Skills**: Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis functions).
- ** Analytical Skills**: Structured and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- ** Work Style**: Able to work effectively under pressure, both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- ** Personal Attributes**: Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- ** Communication**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.
