We are seeking an Indirect Tax Analyst who will work on VAT compliance related matters, assisting the Indirect Tax Compliancer Manager with the required filing; review/improve compliance procedures; and supporting related Indirect Tax planning projects.

The position is designed for a junior analyst who will play a key role in ensuring compliance.

Essential Job Functions:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics or law or similar.- English language is mandatory; any other language is a benefit.- Internship or prior experience in big 4 companies and/or reputable legal firm in corporate tax or in-house Tax Indirect Tax role is a plus.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, time management and communication skills (both oral and written).- Strong organizational skills and communication skills.- Strong attention to detail.- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines imposed by project timescales or tax authority requirements.- Ability to take initiative while seeking appropriate guidance.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Knowledge in accounting systems (SAP) and processes, Power BI experience will be a plus.- Support the Indirect Tax team in the following tasks:
- The indirect tax compliance has been outsourced to an external provider; the incumbent will have to ensure communication is smooth and deadlines are met- Controls and reconciliations of the VAT GL accounts.- Works of an indirect tax risk and governance framework, optimizing the use of technology where appropriate and striving for continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience:
- indirect tax knowledge- Familiarity with SAP and tax technology solutions (e.g. OneSource, Vertex) would be a plus- Ability to think and act strategically while being able to execute on operational deliverables- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and collaboration skills- Strong negotiator, internally and with external government bodies (tax authorities)
