**Indirect Tax Analyst Support**

**Temporary replacement due to a maternity leave**

**The role**:
Within the Tax department, you will support on indirect tax accounting across all the Group entities. This includes your support in VAT compliance and accounting tasks, process improvements and helping on a wide variety of indirect tax topics, giving direct support to the Indirect Tax team.

You will be working closely with the indirect tax team of our Group shared service center.

**What you’ll do**:

- **
Compliance & Controversy**
- Support in specific tasks on the VAT compliance processes of our operating entities, located in around 15 countries, outsourced to a Group shared service center.
- Support in the control and reconciliations of the VAT GL accounts.
- Support on the VAT returns reconciliation (VAT returns, ECL, Intrastat).
- Support the team regarding any VAT audits in the local operating entities.

Business Support**
- Provide support on VAT topics research in relation with current and future business initiatives and on transaction specific questions.
- **
Process Improvement**
- Support needed to implement improvements of indirect tax processes to enhance efficiency, improve accuracy of data and controls.

**What you need to have**:

- 1-3 years’ experience (not required).
- Degree in Economics/Business Administration or Law.
- Accounting and Tax knowledge (preferable VAT accounting knowledge).
- VAT-relevant SAP user knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral in English.
- Team player who is confident in communicating with others and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Self-confident, organized, autonomous able to work effectively on a remote basis in a multi-cultural and fast-paced environment.
