**IDIBELL is looking for Head of Accounting & Reporting**

**About the unit**

The Accounting Unit is part of the Department of Economic Management and Administration. The unit manages, values and records the economic transactions carried out by the institution in order to prepare complete and reliable reports in accordance with current legislation. All activities related to the management of fixed assets, taxes, cash management and reporting the financial figures to the various stakeholders like Generalitat, Financial Auditors, clients and suppliers are also carried out by this Unit.

**About the role**

The Head of Accounting & Reporting oversees all activities of the unit and supervises and manages all general accounting activities, tax, treasury, analysis and reporting, business partnership, and is responsible of creating and maintaining effective internal controls while ensuring statutory compliance in all accounting activities. This position coordinates the day-to-day aspects of the business’s accounting and reporting functions.

This position reports directly to the Managing Director who takes responsibility over the entire financial area.

Main duties and responsibilities will be the following:

- Manage a team.
- Supervise the day-to-day aspects of the business’s accounting and administration
- Coordinate and supervise tax forms and settlements.
- In charge of cash management and accounts payable transactions.
- Elaborate and Report the monthly and annual required financial information and KPI’s to be sent to the Executive Team and Stakeholders.
- Coordinate and elaborate the financials for the budget at IDIBELL.
- Manage the statutory financial audit.
- Create and enhance financial policies, procedures and internal controls across the accounting unit as well as the whole Department of Economic Management and Administration.

**Job requirements**

Professional experience
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in Accounting and Tax within a Company
- 2-3 years working for a Big-Four Audit firm.

Education and training
- University Degree: Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration

Technical skills
- ERP expertise, preferable Fundanet
- Excel expertise

Languages
- Good command of the English language
