We are looking for a **Business Development Analyst **for Hill's Pet Nutrition (based in Madrid).

As a Business Development Analyst you´ll be responsible for tracking information from products, promotions and sales (from Hill’s and competitors), as well as control and monitor the customer development budget. Also identify business opportunities by channel & customer and lead the implementation of new tools for the customer development team.

**Principal dutties & responsibilities**:

- Support development and execution of specific sales and marketing projects and initiatives for Vet & Pet customers.
- Prepare and follow up the implementation and tracking of Hill’s commercial activities.
- Analyze Customer Development and Business data and make recommendations based on the results.
- Support field sales employees (TM’s) by providing information about customers T&Cs, selective distribution policy, new digital tools, etc.
- Control and monitor the Vet & Pet Customer Development Budget.
- Analyze and develop solutions in executional gaps by client clusters, in all Period Activities, for Numerical Distribution and Recommendations.
- Support the development and implementation of agreed annual business plans across a portfolio of large, independent key customers consistent with overall net sales, volume and pricing goals.
- Regularly monitor competitor activity (promo price, promos) and ensure leanings are passed to the relevant people within the Company.
- Coordinate and manage the external call center team that provides support to customers and consumers from a commercial perspective.
- Maintain and coordinate the internal sales CRM tool that is use by the field team for daily reporting of visits and surveys.

**Required qualifications**:

- Education/ Experience Requirements:

- University Degree.
- Experience in Customer Development, Marketing or Commercial Finance.
- Use of Analytical Tools, Google Sheets, Access.
