**Job description**:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented research technician, with strong experience in animal handling, for the Models of Cancer Therapy Laboratory at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) in Barcelona.
**Requirements**:
**Experience Required**:
***Mouse handling & welfare monitoring techniques
- Product administration through different routes (i.p, i.v., oral gavage)
- Manipulation of cytotoxic substances
- Necropsy and tissue processing
- Surgical techniques (such as subQ and orthotopic implantations)
**Preferred Qualifications**:
***Title of higher technician (FPII/CFGS) or bachelor degree in the field of bioscience
- Accreditation training to handle experimental animals
- Proven experience as a lab technician
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment
- Good computer skills (esp. Excel)
- Knowledge of English is required
**Additional information**:
Salary will be offered according to previous experience.
