VHIR offers a vacancy for a Laboratory Technician position within the Rheumatology Research Group - IMID-Biobank.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required**:

- CFGS (Higher-Level Training Cycle)
- FP2 Laboratory technician or equivalent

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required**:

- Experience in biobanking and molecular biology
- Experience with automated laboratory equipment
- Experience in Quality Management Systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Personal skills:
- Well-organized and flexible
- Detail-oriented and committed to performing high-quality work in the lab
- Teamwork skills

**Main responsibilities and duties**:

- Handling, processing and storage of biological samples and associated data
- Maintenance of laboratory paper and electronic registries
- Maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Stock management of consumables and reagents
- Experimental support to investigators

**Labour conditions**:

- Full
- time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: Immediate
- Gross annual salary: 20.500€ - 23.000€ euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: Temporary (replacement contract for medical leave)
