The EMEA IB Operations Manager is responsible for all operational / tactical IB objectives and tasks.
Leadership in daily business with the Countries as well as support of EMEA IB projects and reporting solutions are main contributors to improve process efficiency, drive revenue and profit growth, and better enable the support and service of Videojet’s customers.
Individuals in this role must have a good technical / commercial background with good understanding of companies Finance and Sales processes.
Furthermore, good experience and knowledge with business intelligence concepts and tools and their feasibility within the Videojet business infrastructure, good interpersonal and communication skills, and an ability to define and manage deliverables while adhering to project timelines is essential.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Operations & Daily Management Processes**
- Develop EMEA IB operations to meet global and regional requirements
- Visual Management implementation, monitoring and adaption
- Adjust/implement standard processes
- Identify and support organizational improvement potentials
- Accompany local IB manager succession planning process
- Lead EMEA IB Discount Approval process
- Organization and lead of EMEA IB meetings
**IB Data Analysis & Reporting**
- Support local execution of Global / EMEA IB strategies and ensure sustainability
- EMEA development of standardized analysis and reporting in order to drive growth and to identify major root causes for identified challenges and improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement reports and data requirements for metrics and dashboards to measure the performance of IB growth including EMEA initiatives
**Project Management**
- Organize and lead initiatives to document processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Able to quickly identify systemic business issues and leverage team expertise and DBS problem solving tools to drive to root cause and sustainable fixes
- Develop and drive accountability around daily management and monthly KPI’s to measure project impact over the short and long term
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications. Develop solutions and tools to support local IB processes
- Work with internal and external resources to meet deadlines, ensure deliverables meet project scope definition, and manage project budget
**Financial Management & Growth**
- Basic understanding of or capacity to learn high-level financial statements - understanding the impacts that key projects have on the Videojet P&L
- Support the evaluation of financial models for proposed projects to identify costs, revenue impacts, cash flow impacts, and payback period
**Key Metrics**
- EMEA IB revenue
- EMEA IB margin ($ / %)
- Price realization
- AP displacement reduction
- Net/Gross Churn
- % standardized reports vs local reports
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Lead local teams to reach their results without a direct reporting line
- Inclination and ability to listen to various stakeholders (e.g. Customers, Sales, IB, etc.), understand business requirements and translate into functional specifications
- Successfully deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges
- Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills
**Education and/or Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline
- Working knowledge of the supplies & parts business
**Relationships**
- Key Relationships: EMEA IB Director, Country Manager, Country IB Manager, Customer Service, Field Sales, Inside Sales, Field Service
