**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
The Product team is in charge of supporting the end to end life cycle of the new products launched as part of Santander’s Alternative Investments business. From analysing the product requirements and deciding the structure that best accommodates our needs, to coordinating the launching with internal and external teams and making sure there is operational readiness for the vehicle to function. The Product team is key to the business, it coordinates the different stakeholders and adds value by managing and organizing different departments and third parties from a holistic point of view. We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Coordinating all parties involved in product launching: together with the product sponsor, making sure that each product has a solid business plan that has been checked from a legal, tax, finance, sales and business point of view
- Being part of the product governance: Attending internal committees where the product is analysed and approved by internal experts (legal, compliance, risks..)
- Making sure the product is viable from an operational point of view by engaging with operations teams, internal and external distributors, administrators and other third parties.
- Understanding distribution channels, legal requirements and operational requirements to create and launch new distribution opportunities.
- Knowledge management as a central part of the business. Being able to map, draw, standardize and optimize processes by being in the centre of product coordination and achieving a holistic view of the product lifecycle and needs.
- Gain exposure to all investment strategies, as well as the different Management Company’s departments and group local and global teams.
The role is 100% trasversal. The product team is in constant conversations with the Investment team, Legal, Operations, Technology, Risk and Compliance, Finance and Sales. Additionally, coordination with external parties like distributors, other group entities, fund administrators, depositaries and external legal advisiors is also part of the day to day of the role.
**EXPERIENCE**
3 to 5 years of experience in the financial sector (asset management, private banking or audit/consultant firms) Relevant experience in legal, regulatory and operational matters in the private markets business. Project coordination, leading project implementation and managing several stakeholders towards a common goal. Working with several parties from different teams and companies on an international framework.

- Experience in private markets, regulation, market/industry trends,.. Sensibility to deal with relevant stakeholders such as regulators, service providers, distributors, operations teams..
- Committed to the project and focus towards achieving high quality results
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills, critical thinking, agility in learning and flexible to adapt to new challenges.
- Able to develop pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
- Highly organized, proficient organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Able to work proactively and always meet deadlines and manage competing autonomy priorities under significant time pressures.
- Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft office (Power Point, Excel, Word), Data tools, information websites
- High level of English
