At IQVIA, we are looking for a **Hospital Coding Management Technician**, responsible for ensuring that patient clinical information is accurately coded, organized, and utilized for administrative, financial, and strategic purposes. ***Key Responsibilities**: - Lead the coordination and management of clinical coding projects using ICD-10 across various hospital centers we collaborate with, ensuring compliance with quality standards and established deadlines. - Drive continuous improvement in ICD-10 coding processes for medical records, promoting standardization and efficiency in healthcare documentation. - Conduct systematic audits of coding processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with current regulations. - Perform clinical episode coding using the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision (ICD-10), applied to various healthcare settings such as inpatient care, major outpatient surgery (MOS), day hospitals, emergency services, outpatient consultations, among others. - Prepare analytical reports and detailed statistics based on coded data to support strategic decision-making within the organization. - Collaborate cross-functionally with other professionals and departments, fostering a multidisciplinary and results-oriented work environment. - Build long-term strategic relationships with clients to become their preferred partner in the coding area. ***Minimum Requirements**: - Degree as a **Specialist Technician in Health Documentation**, with proven experience of more than three years using the ICD-10-ES classification. - Strong technical skills and project management capabilities, with the ability to lead teams and initiatives effectively. - Presentation skills for client-facing scenarios - including project results and commercial proposals. - Critical thinking for process improvement. - Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and health sciences. - Familiarity with emerging technologies applied to the healthcare sector. - Proficiency in IT tools, especially Microsoft Office at an advanced level. - Experience with various coding tools currently available in the market will be positively valued. - ** Catalan and English are required** IQVIA is an **equal opportunity employer**.
