VHIR offers a vacant for covering a work leave of a laboratory technician with experience in tissue processing (fixation,

inclusion), sectioning and staining.

Delivery and Targeting group at CIBBIM-Nanomedicine. FVPR is the devoted to performing customized assays in the

area of preclinical development (in vitro and in vivo efficacy, toxicology and pharmacokinetic assays) of novel

diagnostic or therapeutic compounds based on nanotechnology. FVPR is also part of the ICTS-Nanbiosis, and

therefore, the incorporated technician will be also linked to this platform. Her/his work will be oriented to give

support to the In vivo and In vitro Sections of FVPR in an ISO9001:2015 certified environment.

Previous experience in routine histological processing, from tissue fixation, to inclusion, sectioning and staining.Lab management skills (analytical, organizational and time management).Good computer skills, especially in MS Office

**Main responsibilities and duties:

Support the preclinical histology section of FVPR by
- collecting, fixing and processing biological samples
- sectioning of paraffin-embedded blocs
- preforming regular staining and immunohistochemistry procedures in obtained sectionsData registry and preliminary reporting.Basic processing of cell cultures and mouse tissue samples.Administrative and laboratory management tasks
