The mission of International Studies Abroad is to offer maximum support for American students during their study abroad in Barcelona.
- Student services coordinator: _

The student services coordinator will be required to assist students in a variety of fields. They will assist in communications and transactions with academic institutions both locally and in the US. They will help manage the various issues which may arise in their housing options as well as provide support to help assure personal wellbeing. The student services coordinator will also assist in activities which promote cultural integration, some of which may require traveling outside of Barcelona.

**Requirements**:

- High proficiency in spoken and written English & Spanish.
- University Degree - Education, Tourism or related discipline preferred.
- Experience working/studying internationally, if possible, within a US system, is preferred.
- Knowledge of the city of Barcelona from a logístical point of view (transport, etc.) and cultural/historical.
- Ability to give positive and comprehensive service to all students during every interaction.
- Dynamic and competent ability to resolve conflict situations.
- Sensitivity and flexibility in dealing with problem.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsive team player willing to adapt to a variety of roles.
- Responsible and able to work proactively with autonomy.
- Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, Office365.
- Positive attitude.
- Availability to travel punctually accompanying the students on cultural excursions.
- Adaptability and time flexibility depending on the company needs, including weekly rotation of on-call support for student emergencies outside of office hours.
- Permission to work/reside in Spain.

Upon hiring, the duration of this full-time contract will last until the end of April, with the possibility of extension, depending on company needs.

**Requisitos**:

- Alto nível de inglés (oral y escrito).
- Dinamismo, capacidad de resolver posibles situaciones de conflicto.
- Dotes comunicativas.
- Disponibilidad para viajar puntualmente acompañando a los estudiantes
- Actitud positiva.
- Adaptabilidad y flexibilidad horaria en función de las necesidades.
- Conocimientos básicos informáticos.
- Título universitario.
- Conocimientos básicos de la ciudad de Barcelona desde el punto de vista logístico (transportes, etc.) e histórico cultural.

En principio, la duración del contrato será desde principios de enero hasta final de abril, con posibilidad de prolongación en función de las necesidades.
