This position sits within our Bedbank unit.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role is responsible for providing expertise on how to maximize the distribution of Hotelbeds accommodation portfolio into Clients channels through driving best practices among the Sales Community, developing and managing the delivery and visibility of our hotel portfolio and automating reports and tools to be consumed by our key stakeholders (internal teams or customers).
Scope covers Core Sales Regions and attention to API Core Clients owners is prioritized, but support on Long-tail / Digital Sales is also provided.

Accountability 1 - Sales Optimization Initiatives:
Ensure Adoption of Commercial Excellence & Projects Initiatives focused on Sales, specially Compass Pro, by providing content and expertise on the training materials, follow up with Sales Regions in scope to ensure implementation is effectively done and new requirements are gathered and implemented.
Accountability 2 - Product Display focus:
Support Sales Managers and clients’ demand (Core Clients), by analyzing accounts configuration, identifying gaps / opportunities & product display status, draw conclusions and present them to Sales Managers / Clients, ensure completion/follow up from Sales Manager.
Accountability 3 - Mapping focus:
Detect OneMapping development requirements, support users / FTP creations, Crawler and adoption by Sales Managers ensuring Core clients are correctly set up.
Accountability 4 - Commercial Teams focus:
Maintain daily contact with Sales Communitity (TAMs & S/KAMs), ensuring optimization tools and reports are adopted through smooth communication flow and continuous feedback for improvement purposes.
Accountability 5 - Client facing focus:
Represent the Client Optimization department at client meetings if required, which aim to support deepdive optimization requirements and their performance with Hotelbeds, as well as virtual workshops, trade shows in the region in scope.

It is a role of advanced expertise within each region/s in scope, entrusted to manage most complex issues with clients on API Distribution, whilst frontline is managing the usual optimization. It is a role focused on innovating, along with API, on maximizing clients, through the Sales Optimization / Commercial Excellence & Projects umbrella.

**Skills**:

- Comprehensive knowledge of distribution channels in Hospitality industry
- Strong team playing skills, Ability to work in team as well as individually
- Project management and ideation skills
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced multicultural and constantly changing organization
- Advanced knowledge of Office pack (Excel, PPT, word). Basic knowledge of XML, SQL, JSON language recommended
- Multilingual position, English and Spanish proficiency, other languages are highly recommended
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
- Analytical thinking
- Organized, good listener and on point summarizing techniques
- Creative mind / open mind. Out of the box thinker
- Hands on / To do attitude

**Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years experience in Tourism industry, being 1 to 2 years experience within the online accomodation distribution business in optimization-related roles
- Previous experiences in commercial and analytical role/position with KPI tracking
