**Job Purpose**

Develop and implement various Transformational initiatives within the Revenue team from a machine learning and statistical modeling perspective in accordance with Vueling policy and with the objective of ensuring revenue maximization.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Deliver transformational capabilities within the Revenue Management Ecosystem.
- Support the department's decisions and tap new revenue sources.
- Enable collaboration, productivity, and efficiency to thrive on across the teams.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Lead end-to-end implementation of data-driven and modeling-based projects being worked in RMSys-Data Lab.
- Develop, formulate, and execute models and processes through actionable insights extracted using mathematical models, operational research theories and simulations.
- Identify and research technical challenges and opportunities across the Revenue teams, providing theoretical and statistical guidance.
- Bridge the gap between business and Data in the above projects and opportunity areas.
- Organize and manage the team, promoting their development, teamwork and communication, between their collaborators and the rest of the Company.
- Perform any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the job.

**Main Relationships**
- Data and IT, Commercial, Customer, Ancillaries, Network, and Transformation.

**Education**
- Bachelor's degree Maths, Data science or a related field. Master in Data.

**Experience**
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in Airline Industry in data science, building models and project management skills, including project or team management.
- Python, SQL and similar tools.

**Competencies**
- Ability to structure and define complex problems and independently drive initiatives forward to successful completion
- Ability to construct and test models and implement advanced analytics using R or Python
- Ability to use data query (SQL) tools to pull the necessary data from the relevant data sources for modelling and advanced analytics
- Ability to troubleshoot and validate complex processes and models within a project with other data scientists and/or business owners
- Must have a proven track record of presenting complex problems and recommendations to Senior Management
- Must have a proven track record of effective stakeholder management
- Experience with end-user BI Tools is a plus
