Logistics Senior Manager

ROLE AND DEPARTMENT
We’re looking for a Logistics Senior Manager reporting to a Director. She/He will be responsible for all logistic flows of the plant: Inbound, Storage, Stagging and Outbound. She/he has to deliver the safety, quality, service, productivity and cost targets of the area. She/he will be involved in the strategy of the area and in the CBN of the plant.
THE ROLE
**In this role you will be responsible for**: Inbound: Reception physically and logically (SAP) of components and raw materials. The scope is to unload 24 trucks per day, 700 pallets on average in the six different docks. Storage: There are 5 main warehouses with a capacity of 16.500 spots for the components and raw materials. The main location is an automatic warehouse (silo) with 13.000 pallets Staging: She/he will be responsible for all internal flows. The main internal flows are: The movement of the components and drop in front of the 22 lines in the stage area in front of the lines. To pick up all finish good pallets, shrink-wrap them and stage in front of the specific dock. To pick up all segregated waste of the lines and throw in the specific containers. For the movements of the components and FG pallets the plant count with 12 AGV. Outbound: To load physically and logically 9 finish good trucks per day, around 450 pallets on average per day. We have 7 different destinations (DC) and 4 destinations for TPM.
The area counts with a team of almost 85 FTE. The strategy of the area is defined for the next three years. The new logistic manager must implement this strategy, maintaining and improving the current standards. Logistic area play an important role to achieve the goals and the CBN of the plant.
