Senior Master Data Manager

In the current context of fast evolving digitization of business processes and growing usage of Artificial Intelligence, our data sets need to be consistent and of good quality. Therefore, it is key to strengthen and expand the coverage of our data governance and quality capabilities (standards, data quality operations & continuous improvement, data flow & business process standardization). The role described herein provides the opportunity to play a key role in this journey. You will be able to make a real impact on our operations by ensuring efficient, flexible, and compliant creation and use of our master data and analytics in Supply and across other functions Responsibilities Deploy and expand data governance processes in a specific function or sub function, using, expanding and optimizing the existing capabilities. Work with senior stakeholders (Snr Directors, VPs) to scope & plan: identify, prioritize and confirm major data challenges & agree plan & resources to tackle them intervene: address immediate data gaps & drive operating model, major process and system changes, while also managing change with functional leads stabilize: deploy continuous improvement process and mindset to key functional teams or departments (correct data issues and address underlying structural process, system or cultural root causes). optimize: review major business processes to identify and implement simplification and digitalization opportunities govern: establish performance reviews to ensure identified goals are achieved Establish required data standards/governance rules and design relevant process controls. Guide data quality managers in implementing relevant data quality reports & processes with business stakeholders. Collaborate with IT and functional teams to anticipate impacts of any major system change or business transformation. The team consists of 10 experienced data professionals with strong background or experience in business operations, and you will work closely together with several departments such as Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Regulatory or Product development (not limited list). You will not only address complex data challenges, but also learn our core business processes and help our stakeholders to be more efficient & focused on their core activities. As an experienced Master Data Governance and Analytics Manager, you are analytical, structured, organized, have attention to details and rigor in the way you work is structured. You have very good written and verbal communication. You adjust your messages to stakeholders & situations and can convey complex ideas and concepts in a simple manner. Requirements Masters Degree or equivalent 10 years of experience working on data with strong interactions with business functions Good experience in business process formalization & modelling. Experience in documenting data ownership, definitions, business rules, and lineage maps. Experience in generating and implementing data quality rules from data governance or design documentation Process and action oriented, able to establish, communicate and drive action plans across multiple stakeholders and teams Experience in project management: project plans set-up, issue & risk management, base project organisation set-up (drumbeat, roles & responsibilities, escalations & governance) Experience in PowerBI, knowledgeable in coding languages (Python, R). Microsoft Suite: Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Background in SAP MM module and SAP RD; familiarity with other modules is a plus Experience in data modelling is a plus (conceptual, logical, and/or physical) Design & implementation of roles & responsibilities & operating models is a plus.
