As a member of the finance team at Scalefast, you will be in charge of creating internal control policies and procedures, overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions, managing the cash flow, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and ensuring organizational financial stability.

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies that relate to accounting matters (Revenue recognition, Cost of Goods Sold, etc.).
- Improve financial processes and workflow
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare timely monthly financial statements
- High-level financial reporting and analysis
- Regular budget consolidation
- Cash flow management
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Participate in budgeting processes
- Additional controller duties if necessary

**Requirements**:

- Proven working experience as an administrator in the financial team
- 4+ years of overall combined administration and finance experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Excellent accounting software user, ERP systems, and administration skills
- Autonomous and high level of initiative and ability to work well in a team environment
- Previous experience in a start-up and/or an eCommerce company is a plus
- Audit experience is a plus
- Proficient in English and Spanish, French is a plus
