**The Risk Lead will play a key role in supporting the risk management function across the company’s digital banking operations. This individual will focus on managing the risk profile of external partner banks and contribute to broader risk strategies, ensuring a seamless exchange of knowledge, best practices, and risk insights across the company’s digital banking ecosystem. The Risk Lead will also support strategic initiatives and contribute to the overall risk management framework by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.**

We are looking for someone to join us
- **+8 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on banking, fintech, or digital banking environments.**
- **Experience in managing risk for external partnerships, especially in the context of external banking collaborations or fintech partnerships.**
- **Proven ability to contribute to broader risk strategies, with a focus on cross-functional learning and knowledge sharing.**
- **Ability to translate complex risk issues into clear action plans and communicate these effectively across teams.**
- **Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape for digital banking in Europe, with particular expertise in managing risks related to external banking partnerships.**

**Skills**:

- **Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across various teams and communicate effectively with external banking partners.**
- **Strong reporting skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise risk assessments to senior leadership and external stakeholders.**
- **Relevant certifications in risk management (e.g., FRM, PRM) are an advantage.**
- **Analytical mindset with the ability to see the broader risk landscape and contribute to strategic discussions.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Risk Management for External Banks**:

- **Support the risk oversight of external partner banks by monitoring their risk profiles and ensuring compliance with the company's risk frameworks.**
- **Conduct regular risk assessments and audits for external digital banks, ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational standards.**
- **Broader Risk Strategy**:

- **Work with the Head of Risk Management to integrate lessons learned from external banks into the broader digital banking risk strategy.**
- **Foster a culture of knowledge-sharing by promoting best practices, innovative risk management techniques, and lessons from both internal and external operations.**
- **Collaborate on Strategic Initiatives**:

- **Participate in strategic discussions about business growth and new product development from a risk management perspective.**
- **Provide risk insights to the broader strategy team, ensuring that business opportunities are evaluated with a clear understanding of potential risks.**
- **Support the Head of Risk Management in defining and refining risk frameworks for new products and markets.**
- **Reporting and Compliance**:

- **Ensure timely and accurate reporting of risk assessments, action plans, and outcomes to the Head of Risk Management.**
- **Assist in the development of reporting structures for external partner banks and ensure their compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.**
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:

- **Work closely with internal teams such as product, strategy, legal, and compliance to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management.**
- **Engage with the Global Risk Management team to ensure the local risk management practices align with global standards.**
- **Sharing Best Practices Across Digital Banking**:

- **Act as a key conduit for sharing best practices across all digital banking areas, promoting consistency in risk management practices and fostering a learning environment among teams.**
- **Ensure that risk insights, lessons learned, and effective mitigation techniques are communicated to other digital banking areas to enhance overall operational resilience.**

FRM, Partner Relationship Management (PRM), Risk Management
