Our client is a global leader in FinTech, offering cutting-edge banking and payment solutions to both local and multinational financial institutions. They provide modular, integrated software solutions that span all areas of banking and financial services. **In addition to already holding the top spot in FinTech Banking Solutions, they are rapidly progressing to the No.1 spot in Payments Landscape globally.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Proactively identify and close sales opportunities by networking and engaging with prospects for our client’s Payment Solutions
- Establish strong relationships with senior decision-makers in banks and financial institutions across the MEA region
- Meet sales objectives by engaging potential clients to sell Payments software, as well as related services as needed
- Build and maintain long-term relationships within the banking sector and regulators
- Develop insights and strategies for successful sales campaigns in competitive bid scenarios
- Own and implement plans to expand the client base within the banking and financial services sector
- Identify key market opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline and meet annual sales targets
- Provide accurate forecasts for short, medium, and long-term sales cycles
- Participate in regional and global sales reporting, projections, and pipeline management
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- Proven ability as a **“Hunter” and “Closer”**:
- Strong software product sales experience in Enterprise Payments, Card Management, Issuance, Payment Gateways and Switch within the MEA region
- A successful track record of closing sales in payment solutions
- In-depth knowledge of and strong network within the MEA banking and financial sector as well as regulatory bodies
- Strong business acumen in payment solutions
- Ability to manage complex sales processes and major strategic accounts
- Experience in senior-level sales, building executive relationships, and opportunity planning
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills
- Willingness to travel as necessary
- Expert negotiation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Fluent in English (mandatory), Arabic language skills are strongly preferred
