We are now looking for* 3 Technical Project Leaders **for our Technical Center in **Rubí**, close our Headquarters in **Barcelona*.
As part of a multinational cross functional team, they will be responsible for delivering technical projects for new product development, portfolio maintenance and efficiency improvement with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
With the support and guidance of a category manager, they will organize and execute projects within GBfoods factories or in collaboration with Co-manufacturers in line with technical, marketing and manufacturing requirements, this with effectively communicating status and risks.
Their responsibility will be to plan and conduct pilot plant and industrial trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. To complement this they will conduct shelf life analysis, write technical reports requiring the analysis and interpretation of relevant data to drive proper conclusions and recommendations.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Lead project teams from brief until the plant implementation of the product.
- Develop formulas incl. process, technical datasheets & label declaration
- Pilot plant /industrial trials
- Shelf life testing
- Following of timings / Costs
- Collaborate with Marketing, Factory teams, Purchasing, Co-manufacturers and other technical functions
- Follow prescribed procedures and company policies and values
- Attend the day to day problems concerning factories/consumer
- Perform category product maintenance

- Graduate degree in Food Science, Food Process or Agricultural Engineering
- Minimum 2-3 years related experience in project management & product development in the food industry
- Good capacity for analysis and first experience in problem solving
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with multi-national and cross-functional project teams
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and QM/QC requirements
- Availability to travel internationally
- Working in office environment as well as in pilot plants and production.
- PC skills: Knowledge in SAP and standard MS Office and project management software.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish is required; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
