Flowserve is an American multinational corporation and one of the largest suppliers of industrial and environmental machinery, from pumps and seals to valves, actuation and instrumentation, to energy recovery devices and hydraulic decoking systems, and more, our products help plants overcome the toughest flow control challenges.
Join our Supply Chain Department and put into practice all the knowledge acquired throughout your studies. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with great professionals who are experts in their field, assisting various programs and projects in order to develop key competences for your professional development. You will provide support in follow-up of supplier deliveries and update in Oracle and support purchases of (indirect) consumables. You will:
- Work with suppliers and Flowserve personnel to purchase material.
- Work with Customer Order Management and Planning to quote costs and deliveries for existing and new purchased components relevant for the site.
- Work with Supplier Performance Group, Engineering, Manufacturing and suppliers to fulfill quality, cost, and delivery needs
- Track and report key functional metrics.
- Interface with Supply Chain organization (local and global) to resolve issues concerning order placement for assigned commodities.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in industrial Engineering or similar
- Fluent English and Spanish - both verbal and written communication is required
- High level in office automation
- Good interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of Ms Excel, and ability to be able to take real benefit from the computer tools to gain efficiency in the daily work
- Team player. Persistent, creative and service mentality are also important skills
