Kinekta are currently partnered with a veteran utility-scale wind, solar and BESS IPP, that are searching for an AVP of Development to lead the project development and commercial structuring of their projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and guide project development activities across multiple renewable energy and storage assets.
- Manage a team of developers and external consultants to advance projects through all phases: site control, permitting, interconnection, engineering, and pre-construction.
- Lead negotiations with landowners, utilities, regulatory agencies, local governments, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams including origination, finance, engineering, legal, and construction to ensure projects are optimized for long-term ownership.
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience developing utility-scale renewable energy projects - solar, wind or BESS.
- Experience with full life cycle development through construction to operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, environmental science, or related field.
- Experience across multiple ISOs in the US, WECC preferred.
- Proven track record with commercial offtake, power marketing and PPA agreements.
