Amazing, isn’t it? - We are currently looking for a - **Senior Credit Underwriting Analyst **(also known as Senior Risk Analyst) who wants to join our team. You will be critical in analyzing our counterparties’ credit risk. - Sounds interesting? Keep reading **What will you do?** - As said, your mission as Senior Credit Underwriting Analyst is to analyze our counterparties’ credit risk. This means forming an opinion on their ability to pay debt on time. Overall, this role is crucial in maintaining a healthy cost of risk (or losses) across our credit portfolios, in turn making our business more sustainable. - Your responsibilities will include: - Review and analyze counterparties’ financial statements, including historical analysis and a critical assessment of forecasts provided;- As part of this analysis and subsequent review, meet with C-suite executives of counterparties to gather more information and conduct Q&A;- Forming a credit risk opinion related to a specific transaction, derived from the counterparties’ analysis that was previously conducted;- When applicable, prepare a risk report to present the credit risk opinion to the Director of Underwriting and/or the Underwriting Committee;- Rank and prioritize transactions according to their risk level, to ensure an adequate level of attention is paid to each of them;- Monitor at least on quarterly basis the evolution of the counterparties’ in the existing credit portfolio;- In doing all of the above, collaborate with teams across the organization, from Commercial to Legal to Operations, to ensure efficiency and best results.- In doing so, you will contribute to the achievement of Novicap’s long-term growth plans **How will you do it?** - With integrity, taking responsibility for your actions with the aim of fulfilling our agreements and without hiding information or misleading. You will work closely with the rest of colleagues across Madrid and Barcelona.
