For a lovely client in Mallorca we are looking for a competent German/ Spanish speaking House Manager/ All-rounder. Drivers only and knowledge of Mediterranean living essential. This is wonderful role for someone who knows island living and has great house management skills.

The female Principal is soon, when renovations are finished, moving to a new large historic property in the southern part of Mallorca/ 40 min from Palma, She is moving from a large country house and requires support in running the household and the property will need setting up to run smoothly. Ideally she is looking someone who is a great all-rounder and who has some (but not extensive) cooking skills, able to create a meal for a simple lunch with a friend.

The household is run informally with more formal occasions when entertaining, as the client loves to hold festivities due to her large circle of international friends. The role reports directly to the Principal. There is one housekeeper and there are no pets.

**The duties of the House Manager**
- Overseeing contractors and the housekeeper
- Ensuring the property is kept to a high standard
- Dealing with utilities and household bills
- Overseeing IT (internet/ TV)
- Assisting with PA duties (appointments/ bookings), when required
- Occasionally planning, shopping for and cooking light meals
- Organizing caterer if needed for larger events
- Planning and delivering small events, laying tables
- Welcoming guests, drinks service
- Ensuring guests rooms are ready
- Assisting with small repairs
- Cleaning and caring for cars and driving duties (if needed)
- Maintaining the pool and the outside area
- Airport pick up and drop offs
- Running errands

**Requirements**:

- 5 years experience in private households
- Legal to work in Spain (EU passport)
- Fluency in German and Spanish
- Previous experience of Mediterranean living (ideally in the Balearics)
- Excellent front of house skills and manners
- Ability to cook basic/ healthy dishes when required
- Knowledge of working in a similar climate (ideally Spain)
- Good technical skills including IT knowledge

The location is a small town in southern Mallorca with good food shopping facilities, close to the islands centre for growing fruit and vegetables. Local seasonal produce is available in an abundance. It is also close to some of the best beaches on the island.

A local apartment (furnished/ unfurnished) is supplied as well as the use of a car if needed. Spouses may be considered.

**Hours**: Approx. Mon - Fri - 8am - 5pm (with 1 hour for lunch), time in lieu given for flexible hours, plus accommodation

**Salary**: €3400 - €4500 gross/ month, depending on experience, separate accommodation plus holidays.
