**About the role**:
**Here's what you'll do day-to-day**:

- Develop and implement the organization's information security strategy, policies, and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and develop plans to address them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security risks.
- Oversee the development and implementation of security awareness and training programs for employees.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats, technologies, and trends and advise the organization on how to respond to them.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external security organizations, vendors, and partners.
- Manage security incidents and coordinate response activities across the organization.
- Prepare and present reports on the organization's information security posture to senior management and other stakeholders.

**Here's what we're looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in **information security management**.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and COBIT.
- Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with regulatory compliance, including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
