**Job Description**:
**Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties**
- Design and implement encryption and key management solutions.
- Assist stakeholders and business units with understanding encryption requirements and available Verisk solutions.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to encryption and key management solutions.
- Work with SIEM to facilitate security monitoring and reporting.
- Create dashboards and reports for the Data Protection Team.
- Use SIEM to improve monitoring processes.
- Integrate with the Data Protection team to be proficient on our core platforms.
- Cross train team members with skills via training and procedure documentation.
- Security Architectural design and product evaluation
- Evaluate and integrate new service offerings and capabilities from cloud providers.
- Assist in documenting the current environments and procedures.
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Five or more years work experience as an Information Security Engineer or relevant Information Technology experience.
- Experience working in cloud environments. AWS and Microsoft preferred.
- Experience developing, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining technology solutions.
- Experience managing support cases and problem resolution.
- Extensive knowledge of data protection technologies (Data Tokenization, Transparent Data Encryption, Enterprise Key Management, etc) Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux) and Network Security ( Firewall, IPS, IDS, WAF, etc)
- Knowledge of security protocols and principles.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- Ability to work with other teams to achieve deliverables.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience or knowledge.
- One or more professional certifications in Information Security is desirable, ie CCSP, CISSP, CISM, and/or SANS certifications (GCLD, GWEB, GCSA, etc).
