**HQ Santander Consumer Finance **is looking for a RETAIL RISK ANALYSIS AND MANAGEMENT INFORMATION JUNIOR ANALYST, based in our **Madrid, Spain **office.**

**Santander Consumer Finance **focuses on business development related to consumer finance products, sales channels and commercial agreements with dealers, vehicle manufacturers or retail distribution establishments, as well as commercial functions associated with direct sales (branches, call centers or digital channels) and indirect sales (through third parties) of consumer finance products.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As a **Retail Risk Analysis and Management Information Junior Analyst **, you will:

- Design, develop and manage Data & Analytics tools and automated reporting solutions within the Retail Risk Team, ensuring and improving data quality, data gathering processes and overall data availability
- Follow Project management activities targeted to enhance and innovate current MIS (both from a data perspective and in terms of conceptual frameworks) supporting portfolio management and other business functions, and reporting information to Top Executives in Santander Consumer Finance
- Provide support to Retail Risk functions, central banks, consultants and audits concerning data, analytics and reporting
- Support the promotion of corporate projects and policies oriented to enhance credit data and Retail Risk MIS at HQ level and for all the Units

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Design, implementation and management of a robust Retail Risk MIS system to continuously evolve in credit decisions across SCF
- Active Participation in new MIS developments for new and existing products, channels, etc.
- Develop, review and supervise SCF HQ and Units’ MIS to ensure appropriate reporting to Committees and risk management functions.
- Look for opportunities to use existing datasets to further integrate MIS and internal reports. Identify existing MIS strengths and weaknesses in Credit Risk management proposing alternative solutions and approaches.

EXPERIENCE
- Up to 2 years of experience in Data & Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence. Preferred consulting background
- Preferred previous experience in managing projects independently and in presenting data and analyses to external or internal stakeholders
- Background in Finance and particularly in Consumer Finance highly appreciated, but not required

EDUCATION
- Degree in IT Engineering/Information Science or Business, Economics, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
- Master, Postgraduate is desired

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Required skills and previous experience in coding and Business Intelligence tools development, especially with one or more of the following: Power BI, QlikView, SAS, SPSS, MATLAB; expertise with Power BI is highly preferred.
- Strategic mindset and ability to see the bigger picture, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Planning, time management and organizational skills.
- Advanced level of English and medium Spanish level are required.

- Availability to travel is desired.
