Project Manager professional activity will be develop in a highly international environment, managing all the responsibilities detailed below in multi-specialized and multicultural groups.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define, plan and agree with the internal/external client the scope of the project, the schedule, the milestones, the budget and the deliverables, complying with the expectations and commitments of the internal and external client.
- Control and execute project management in accordance with the objectives and processes of R&D.
- Manage deliverables, planning and cost of ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are properly allocated and that goals, objectives, deadlines and budgets are met in accordance with the project schedule and work plans.
- Ensure that the design, implementation, testing and commissioning meet the requirements of the Siemens project and processes. Attend formal review meetings, report project status, identify and report any potential risks, react accordingly, and replan appropriately.
- Track the work of the team internally organized following Agile methodology. Combine this management with the monitoring of the high-level work plan generated in Microsoft Project with classic management methodology.
- Provide direct and ongoing leadership for a team of MassTransit engineers.

Manage and attend to assigned team members, including hiring, establishing, and tracking professional growth and development plans; ensuring they acquire appropriate knowledge and professional development.
- Manage relationships with external partners and suppliers, including setting expectations regarding deliverables, product quality, schedule and costs.
- Assure that team members communicate and collaborate effectively with other areas of R&D and other departments and countries by Siemens Rail Automation.
- Proactively identify areas of innovation, opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction opportunities.

Minimum requirements

Training/experience:

- Degree in Industrial Engineering or Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience of 5 years in R&D projects in railway signalling development.
- Good level of English, spoken and written.
- Customer orientation and team leadership.
- Proven experience in railway signalling, following CENELEC standards, controlling the design and implementation process and supporting its commissioning.
- Good communicative and integrative skills, both at the written and oral level.

The systems object of the activity of the position are developed in the context of large railway infrastructures and in international and multi-technological environments, in which it is necessary to develop system integrations in heterogeneous environments both human and technical, so we value the following technological skills and experiences.

- Requirements management and systems engineering (DOORS type tools or similar)
- Application and protection of RAMS requirements during the development of projects.
- Development of on-board equipment or track in railway systems, with special attention to CBTC systems.
- General knowledge of software development (programming in object-oriented languages, especially C++)
