The Marketing Events Coordinator for Hexagon’s Geosystems division supports the Global Events Manager and is tasked with the efficient organisation of in-person and digital events. The role also includes coordination of digital event tools, optimisation and documentation of event processes, governance and training.

This position is part of a de-centralised Global Marketing team with colleagues based around the world. The role is based out of our Barcelona office in Catalonia, Spain and reports into the Global Events Manager who is based in Switzerland.
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support the organisation and execution of key internal and external events including tradeshows
- Coordinate speaker and attendee registration, promotion and logistics
- Project tracking, budget visibility and event reporting
- Train and support colleagues on event processes and digital event tools such as lead capture tools and digital event platforms
- Manage supplier relationships with event venues, hotels, booth builders, audio visual contractors, catering services etc
- Network and collaborate with event stakeholders in other Hexagon divisions to share best practices and leverage knowledge
**PROFILE: QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**
- The role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing events in an agile environment
Proven record of project management skills
- Educational degree in event management, marketing or other related discipline
- Skills and experience in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Sharepoint, Excel, Powerpoint) is a minimum. Any additional skills such as Adobe Creative Suite is a benefit.
- Experience and ability to network remotely, build relationships and operate effectively within a de-centralised marketing community, based in different geographical locations
- An understanding of the overall marketing communications function and how that function operates within a large multinational organisation is a benefit
- Engaging training and presentation skills is beneficial
- A minimum of 2 years professional experience is required
- Fluent in English is a must. Additional German language skills are beneficial.
