**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
As a **Standards and Data Quality Sr. Analyst **, you will join the Swift Global Product team, reporting directly to the Governance and Control Manager and will be responsible for defining the key data quality principles that should govern international financial messaging (with a key focus on international payments) and defining de set of controls required to track compliance with these. You will also be in charge of understanding key regulation applicable on this topic and translating this into specific requirements. He/she will interact with both global business and technologies areas for this as well as with the different local teams in the Santander units (teams in charge of SWIFT messaging).
Key responsibilities include:
- Understand messaging data models and data taxonomy.
- Understand both regulatory and business requirements for international messaging.
- Interact with the different stakeholders (business, IT teams, Operations ) to get input and define priorities.
- Define specific data quality principles.
- Interact with the different user units for the local implementation of these principles.
- Define controls to track compliance with principles defined.
- Implement these in the global SWIFT data warehouse.
- Understand results, communicate these to the local units and define remediation plans.
EXPERIENCE
- 4-6 years of working experience in project management and/or consultancy.
- Experience working in agile methodology is desired.
EDUCATION
- Technical degree such in computer science, engineering or similar.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- SWIFT knowledge and/or expertise is recommended.
- High level of English is a must.
