Our business has been expanding rapidly over the last 5 years and we have a highly talented global team of over 250 people around the world. In order to meet the changing needs of our business, we have created a new Project Management vacancy in Barcelona (hybrid options).
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage translation projects according to deadlines, quality, and budget requirements. (Planning, management of execution and control).
- Effectively communicate project scope and expectations to team members and vendors in a timely, clear, and respectful fashion throughout the entire project cycle.
- Coordinate freelance translation team - delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Provide client/vendor support throughout the duration of the project.
- Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team under constant time pressure, assuming ownership of tasks.
- Terminology Management/glossary management.
- Grant smooth ongoing of operations in Production and report and escalate matters in a timely manner to your line manager.
- Administration support to team members.
**Requirements**:
- +2 years previous PM experience in the translation industry
- Degree in Translation Studies
- French speaking and a good knowledge of English (English speaking with a good knowledge of French is also accepted)
- Excellent prioritization skills and attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize work
Desired skills:
- Master’s degree in Institutional Translation or previous experience with European institutions is a plus.
- Fluent in other languages
- Familiarity with translation tools
