Our proprietary solid-state battery technology will allow us to develop and commercialize safe, high performance and affordable products for a diverse portfolio of customers, from mobility, stationary energy storage and consumer electronics. To this end, we offer the position of **R&D technician for semi-solid battery development**. **MAIN FUNCTIONS** The **R&D technician **is responsible for the conducting laboratory development tasks and will work closely with the Solid-state development Engineer to develop a robust solid-state electrochemical system based on CIC Energigune’s prior IP. Reporting directly to the Semi-solid development Engineer, s/he will be responsible for: - Conducting experiments in the field of Semi-solid battery based on a plan defined by R&D director and Semi-solid development Engineer - Prepare cathode and anode formulation and electrodes - Conduct various DOE for improvement of the semi-solid electrolyte - Conduct daily tasks for characterization of the performances of new semi-solid electrodes & electrolyte - Efficiently feedback results to Semi-solid development Engineer The R&D technician is expected to be an integrated member of the R&D team. **WHAT WE OFFER** We are offering a permanent position as **R&D technician for semi-solid battery development **that will give you a unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented leaders in the lithium battery sector in Europe and provide extensive opportunity for personal growth within the company. Specifically, we will assess expertise in the following aspects: - At least 1 years of experience as a laboratory technician, ideally in an environment that requires formulation - Self-motivated and eagerness to learn - H&S cautious & strong attention to details - Previous experience in formulation of battery electrode is a strong plus - Ability to follow guidance - Ability to report results - We expect high readiness to work with strong engagement and creativity in an interdisciplinary and international environment. - Willingness to grow within an international environment - Applicants should be fluent in English. Spanish or any other European language will be a plus.
