Position purpose
Responsible for Warehouse and Transportation management at the site. Responsible for compliance with GDP & GMP at the warehouse (focus on warehousing, sampling & preparing goods for transportation) and with Import and Export processes.
Major tasks and responsibilities
1. Responsible for Warehouse and Transport management at the site:
1.1 Materials reception and sampling.
1.2 serve materials to production areas,
1.3 managing inventories
1.4 operational maintenance of high-rack warehouse,
1.5 segregation of waste,
1.6 preparation of exports for all divisions and external customers.
2. Responsible for compliance with GDP at the warehouse (focus on warehousing & preparing goods for transportation).
3. Responsible for compliance with Import and Export processes.
4. Proactively strives to build a safe and healthy workplace.
5. Responsible for the management, development, and training of personnel under his/her responsibility.
6. Responsible for continuous improvement of processes related to warehouse and transport management and efficient management of spend and resources under his/her responsibility.
7. Support site’s customer service level and financial targets.

The holder of this position plays an essential role for the value of Bayer and third parties with regards to impact on availability and timely supply of products to the market.
Qualifications (Education, skills, experiences and personal characteristics necessary for success in this position)
10 years’ experience in a similar position at a manufacturing plant, ideally in pharma industry (GMP, FDA).
LIFE values (leadership, integrity, flexibility, efficiency). Collaboration and customer service focused.
**Managerial capabilities**: team-building, decision-making, ability to execute; cross functional perspective, problem solving.
University degree. Knowledge of import / export processes.
**Technical/functional knowledge**: SAP, WHM system, Supply Chain processes, MS Office.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
