Head of Assembly and Warehouse

We want to get onboard the Head of assembly and warehouse to organize and oversee the manufacturing of goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.

Ensure integration with engineering department, with procurement department, to fulfill with the manufacturing deadlines and quality.

Provide visibility in terms of costs and deadlines for the Project Management.

Head of assembly and warehouse oversees the production process, coordinating all production activities and operations:

- Plan and draw up a production schedule
- Decide on and order the resources that are required and ensure stock levels remain adequate
- Select equipment and take responsibility for its maintenance
- Set the quality standards
- Ensure that the production will be cost effective by estimating costs and negotiating and agreeing budgets with both clients and managers
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs
- Preparation of the Rolling Forecast for the Internal Siemens Moblity internal suppliers.
- Manage the Product Business, covering from the receipt of the sales order, through the creation in the SAP system and launch of the PO associated until the delivery to the customer.
- Involvement in the global initiatives of the Digital Factory continuously looking for potential improvement in the production.
- Communicate with the Global Factory community to share best practice and involve in the initiatives to be implemented in Factory.
- Provide updated figures for the Bidding estimation on the cost of production
- Provide Forecast estimation for the Projects
- Analyze the workload in the Factory and the warehouse in order to take actions if needed.
- Liaise with different departments, teams and companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met
- Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
- Collate and analyze data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and customers
- Supervise and motivate a team of workers
- Review worker performance and identify training needs.
- Manage the Warehouse for the Factory and for the projects.
- Manage external service providers like the Project Logistic
- Follow up on the overall material flow from the inbound material to the delivery to the subcontractor follow by the final assembly and testing and to the packaging and the final delivery.
- Responsible for the Home Logistic. Establishing contact with different customer.

Your profile:

- Degree in engineering or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in the production or execution area.
- Experience at least 5 years managing big teams
- English level C1
- Valuable knowledge in the rail sector.
