**Operations coordinator**:
**The activities**:
For national & international clients as well as our colleagues from the Van der Vlist group, you will be responsible for organizing the transports of large and heavy loads by road and/or multimodal, mainly from/to Spain/Portugal to/from Europe. Day in day out, you use your common sense, knowledge and do-it-yourself mentality when it comes to:

- Coordinating and organizing national & international transport
- Processing information in our own IT system and in the customer's systems
- Informing nationally & internationally involved parties (customer, suppliers, colleagues)
- Maintaining contacts with involved parties about the execution of assignments
- Investigating alternative transport options. That way you always know how to offer the best suitable solution

- Full-time position at our office in Barcelona city center
- Work experience in logistics service provider
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Economics or Commerce is a plus
- Enthusiastic with an operational/commercial attitude
- Flexible and solution-oriented
- Affinity with special and heavy road transport
- Good command of the Spanish, Catalan and English language in word and writing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Ability to negotiate effectively with a variety of suppliers
- Enthusiastic team player, but also able to work independently
- Willingness to learn a lot.
