We are a devoted research team consisting of 3 UX Researchers, a Market Researcher, an intern and a Head of Research.

We are partners to design, supply and growth, making a meaningful contribution to Preply's strategy. Preply is an UX focused company where research drives the agenda, and has a direct impact on teams' OKRs. Strategy is led by research rather than just contributing to execution. Nonetheless, it is the researcher's mission to advocate for the user and keep the balance between business and user values.

At Preply, we are constantly pushing the limits, running hundreds of AB tests, each with specific tracking and analytic requirements. This, along with the wide scope of our product and the sophistication of the tutor/learner interactions on a truly global scale, makes for some rewarding challenges.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Driving the agenda by being a proactive partner for design and product, offering research ideas and identifying product opportunities based research insights
- Identify, develop and manage user experience research initiatives, both quantitative and qualitative
- Collaborate with product, design and data analytics teams to identify business requirements and translate them into research goals to define measurable success
- Execute and manage several projects concurrently and prioritize research projects (we have a fast-paced work environment)
- Communicate research findings through persuasive, compelling research artifacts and group presentations/workshops
- Partner with other researchers across a diverse team

**What you need to succeed**:

- Strong command of qualitative and quantitative research methods to design and execute impactful research in a fast paced environment
- Proven ability to identify the right methods to conduct effective research in order to discover / develop strategic opportunities and drive business outcomes from identifying customer needs
- Ability to describe complex concepts clearly and persuasively to different audience, presenting evidence and making actionable recommendations to influence stakeholders
- Previous experience working in a product based, mobile first company
- Fluent English (multinational team)

**Nice to have**:

- Fluent second language is a big plus (German, French, Polish, Turkish, Italian)
- Previous experience with Lookback, Dovetail, Respondent.io, Typeform
- Experience is using data tools like Looker, Amplitude etc.
- Understanding the basics of AB testing
- Experience working in a marketplace and multiple product teams
