Melia Hotels International are recruiting for an experienced Revenue Manager to join the UK North leadership team overseeing a small portfolio of hotels in the North UK. The Area Revenue Manager alongside the Director of Sales will develop, lead, and communicate each hotel’s commercial strategy with the Director of Operations and Hotel Managers. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established global organisation with ambitious expansion plans. Melia added two brand new Innside branded hotels to their UK portfolio in 2021 and have several opportunities in the pipeline for additional growth. **Job Purpose**: As an Area Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the RevPar of the hotels under your responsibility, managing the pricing strategy of your hotels on a daily basis, and under the supervision of the area leader will execute the different actions that guarantee an optimum performance **Duties Include**: - Design the RM strategy for hotels under their responsibility to maximise RevPAR and EBITDA. - Design the pricing strategy for each segment and monitor results every day. - Design a pricing strategy and supplements by room type that maximises revenues in superior and attribute rooms. Monitor the performance of room types, designing action plans for room types with a performance below what is expected. - Create weekly and regular forecasts for hotels under their responsibility. - Create minutes and action plans for each forecast, ensuring the viability of actions to face the challenges detected in the forecast. - Create annual budgets for hotels and all the required periodic reviews or ad-hoc reforecasts. - Analyse and monitor trade fair periods and the peak dates for hotels.
