What You'll Do:
- Lead the development and execution of our strategy for creating multimodal AI models that set new industry standards.
- Build and nurture a team of AI experts, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Spearhead collaborations with other departments to ensure our AI models are effectively integrated into market-driven solutions.
- Represent Tether in the AI community, sharing our work and learning through open contributions, speaking engagements, and publications.
- A PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, complemented by a solid track record in AI R&D.
- Experience building a LLM or other large models from scratch including writing model code, gathering training data, optimizing training and inference.
- Strong experience in NLP, computer vision, and multimodal learning, proficient in TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX and CUDA toolkit.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse, high-performing teams, with an emphasis on mentorship and collaborative success.
- Advanced knowledge of distributed and high-performance computing systems.
- Excellent programming skills in Python, C++, JavaScript or similar.
