Join our project as a **Lead Environment Artist** and take a leadership role in creating captivating and immersive in-game environments for **Project Fantasy**. Collaborating with the Art Director and Associate Art Director, you will contribute to the artistic vision and ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the development process. With your expertise, you will guide a team of skilled artists and collaborate with other disciplines to bring our fantasy world to life.

**What you will do**:

- Lead and mentor a team of environment artists, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the production cycle.
- Collaborate closely with the Art Director and Associate Art Director to establish and maintain the artistic vision for in-game environments.
- Translate concepts and design direction into visually stunning, optimized assets and modular pieces.
- Oversee the creation of gray box levels, ensuring they meet level design requirements and are conceptually interesting.
- Work closely with level designers, lighting artists, and effects artists to ensure seamless integration of art assets within the game world.
- Prepare and manage outsourcing handouts, providing clear instructions and feedback to external partners.
- Collaborate with technical artists to optimize art assets for optimal execution and performance within our proprietary engine.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.

**Who you are**:

- You are a well-versed Lead Artist with 6+ years in the AAA space, and have worked on at least one AAA title.
- You have in-depth understanding of the technical limitations and requirements for in-game art making.
- You can do thorough optimization of environments and assets, making them ready to be placed in-engine. We work with our proprietary engine, Glacier.
- Experience working with art fundamentals including framing, lighting, etc.
