**Opportunity Overview**

We are seeking two Barcelona-based freelance legal trainers to deliver:

- **Course 1: Law-Making -**a 5-day course on the legislative process from policy formulation to enactment.
- **Course 2: Legislative Drafting -**a 5-day course focusing on drafting clear, effective, and enforceable legislation.

These are fantastic opportunities for experienced legal professionals with expertise in legislative processes, public law, or parliamentary procedure to deliver high-impact training to senior-level international delegates.

**Assignment Responsibilities**

For Law-Making:
Deliver a 5-day in-person course (8-12 September 2025).

Cover topics such as:

- Introduction to law-making
- Government systems and institutional roles
- Effective policy making
- Legislative process and timetables
- Enforcement, compliance, and legal constraints
- Facilitate discussions, case studies, and practical exercises.

For Legislative Drafting:
Deliver a 5-day in-person course (8-12 September 2025).

Cover topics such as:

- Legislative drafting techniques
- Turning policy into enforceable law
- Structuring primary and subordinate legislation
- Principles of legal clarity, consistency, and interpretation
- Comparative practices in legal systems
- Lead practical drafting workshops tailored to public sector professionals.

For both roles:

- Adapt content to the needs of high-level delegates.
- Work closely with LCT operations team to ensure client satisfaction and learning outcomes.

Ideal Collaborator Profile
- Based in or near Barcelona (essential)
- Qualified legal professional (e.g. legislative drafter, lawyer, legal academic, or consultant)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in legal drafting, public law, or legal training
- Educated to degree level in Law or a related field
- Holds a training or teaching qualification (e.g. P
- TTLS, TAP, PGCE)
- Experienced in working with governments, parliaments, or public institutions
- Confident delivering content to senior-level public officials
- Fluent in English and skilled at engaging diverse international audiences
