**About the client**:
Our client is a multinational company in the automotive sector, with a presence in 20 countries with more than 9,000 employees. It invests in the design and development of high-tech components, making it one of the leaders in its market segment.

**Job description**:
The mission of the Corporate Quality Director is to ensure customer satisfaction, exceed customer expectations and company profitability targets by making sure everyone applies the international norms and standards, the company's systems, procedures and improvement methodologies.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Conduct Internal Audits according to the annual Corporate Quality Audit Plan.
- Escalate local/regional technical or organizational problems when necessary.
- Lead or participate in activities under the Corporate Strategic Lines.
- Train local/regional trainers on the company's HSQE, International Standards IATF16949, ISO/IEC15504, ISO26262, ISO9001 and other customer quality norms and procedures.
- Encourage the employees to file relevant lessons learned in the database.
- Participate in corporate meetings: Daily QCR, Weekly PDCA, Monthly MQR and Quality KPIs.
- Support the revision of corporate policies, procedures, instructions and forms.
- Deploy and oversee execution of company quality policies and strategies for product design (mechanical, hardware and software).
- Define and implement specific PIs and KPIs to monitor and improve the quality of product design management from the concept phase to the production phase.
- Manage continuous improvement activities to achieve the targets established in the KPIs.
- Ensure strict respect for FRS, FDS, CMS and overall product design management procedures.
- Develop and deploy design quality tools to be used during FDS design phases to ensure the quality of products and a trouble free launch.
- Define and coordinate, along with R&D, the work of Design Quality Engineers in all Business Units.
- Oversee integration of new technology and products in the company design policies, updating procedures and methods if required.
- Collaborate with Corporate Project Quality Director in deploying warranty policies in the early stages of development.
- Audit use of standard performance indicators by the local product design management.
- Define and organize focused improvement meetings with the local organizations using problem solving methods (5-Why, 8D, A3, PDCA, etc.).
- Evaluate the rate at which lessons learned from experience with design, projects, plants and suppliers are integrated into design books, concept cards and industrial standards.
- Observe the company's Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
- Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering the company's values.
- Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
- Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the field
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar position
- **Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in electronical engineering or telecommunications engineering
- **Languages**
- Fluent English
- **Competences**
- Knowledge of quality systems, current legislation (ISO/EN Standards), internal auditor or advanced in quality planning would be of additional value
