**Job Purpose**

Lead and manage the airline's ground handling suppliers and airport companies at the nominated base(s) to deliver targeted performance outcomes in all areas of safety, compliance, cost control, customer experience and operational performance.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Deliver targeted performance outcomes in all areas of safety, compliance, cost control and operational performance.
- Achieve maximum safety in all operations.
- Ensure that the operation is as efficient and with the highest quality as possible.
- Ensure that the usual operation is as efficient and with the highest quality as possible.
- Achieve the required Quality and compliance objectives.
- Make the department managed a better place to work.
- Fulfill the mission of the job if it is in the employee ´s hand.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Lead and manage the airline’s ground handling suppliers and airport companies at the nominated base(s) and satellite airports.
- Ensure that ground handling companies and airport operations comply with Vueling’s safety standards at all times.
- Manage cost in line with budget and deliver ever lower cost operational solutions.
- Define and follow negotiations for optimizing ground handling agreements.
- Lead quality/compliance improvements related cross-functional projects.
- Organize and manage the team, promoting their development, teamwork and communication, between their collaborators and the rest of the Company.
- Perform any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the job.

**Education**

Bachelor in Business administration, engineering or Airport Management

**Experience**
- 8-10 years of highly responsible experience in Handling and ground ops leading
teams.

**Languages**
- English C1
- Spanish C1
