**What You Will Do**

As the **People Operations and Office Manager**, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the Barcelona office remains efficient, productive, and connected to our global operations. You’ll support HR processes, recruiting coordination, finance administration, and office logistics—all while contributing to the culture and daily experience of our team.
- **HR & People Operations**
- Manage onboarding and offboarding (contracts, Social Security, systems access, offboarding documentation).
- Administer employee benefits (Cobee, medical insurance, Social Security registration).
- Track work schedules and vacations in compliance with Spanish labor laws.
- Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
- Partner with the HR team in Chicago on company-wide initiatives.
- **Recruiting Support**
- Collaborate on job description creation and recruitment workflows.
- **Finance Coordination**
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution in collaboration with finance (NY).
- Process and track supplier invoices, employee reimbursements, and severance payments.
- Reconcile transactions and maintain up-to-date budget records.
- Liaise with external accountants to review and ensure tax compliance.
- **Administrative Operations**
- Maintain a smooth-running office environment (supplies, logistics, packages, etc.).
- Serve as point of contact with coworking providers on cleaning, repairs, and facilities.
- Handle visa documentation and communication with legal partners.
- Organize team events and office-wide activities to strengthen culture and engagement.
- Performs additional duties as requested.

**What You Will Bring**
- 3+ years in HR, office management, finance coordination, or recruiting operations
- Strong knowledge of Spanish labor laws and payroll processes
- Experience supporting recruiting or working within a recruiting team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities

**Bonus**:Experience with Cobee, HRIS platforms, or external payroll providers
