**About Us**:

We make DeepTech SaaS software to help people who deal with very large projects. Basically, if someone is building a nuclear plant or a large highway, they need a special kind of software to organize and prioritise their work.

**About the Role**:
The People Operations Manager is the go-to person for all things people. They’re passionate about creating a positive, seamless experience for our team and ensuring everything in the People function runs smoothly. From managing the day-to-day employee lifecycle to keeping our processes running effortlessly, and supporting company or team events, they’re at the heart of making our workplace thrive. They’ll play a key role in championing operational excellence, compliance, and, most importantly, engagement across the organisation.

**What will you do in the role?**:
**Onboarding & Offboarding**

- Lead a seamless global onboarding experience for new joiners, managing everything from scheduling and communications to system access and equipment.
- Oversee pre-boarding administration for all new hires, including drafting and issuing offer letters and employment contracts, coordinating reference and background checks and ensuring right-to-work documentation is complete in every location.
- Lead the employee offboarding process, including conducting exit interviews and delivering actionable insights to strengthen employee engagement.

**Employee Engagement**

- Lead and continually improve all People Operations processes - from onboarding and offboarding to benefits and HR systems - ensuring a smooth, positive experience for our global team.
- Collaborate with Leads to deliver structured 30-day plans for new joiners and manage end-of-probation reviews to support their continued success.
- Provide day-to-day HR support across the UK, US, and EU, serving as the go-to person for all People matters and ensuring everyone gets timely, thoughtful support when they need it.
- Support leaders with thoughtful guidance on performance, absence, and disciplinary matters, proactively managing risk.
- Ensure smooth monthly, quarterly and yearly performance cycles.
- Support the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development function to build a connected, people-first strategy that supports growth and engagement across the organisation.

**People Admin & Systems**

- Keep our HRIS (HiBob) data accurate including reporting and analytics to help guide great people decisions.
- Champion compliance with worldwide employment legislation, security, GDPR, and our internal policies, helping us stay aligned and protected.
- Partner with our PEO, EOR, and Payroll providers along with our Finance and Legal teams, to deliver seamless people processes and ensure payroll, benefits, and pension contributions are managed smoothly and thoughtfully.
- Take ownership of refining our people policies, procedures, and employee handbooks and Notion pages so they reflect not just best practice, but who we are as a company.

**About You**:

- Experienced in People Operations or HR management, ideally within a fast-paced, multicultural start-up environment.
- A proactive self-starter who takes ownership and follows through, consistently getting things done without needing to be chased.
- Detail-oriented and process-minded, with a love for making things run smoothly and efficiently.
- Comfortable working with HR systems. Our HRIS is HiBob, our ATS is Screenloop and we are Notion’s fans
