**As a Courier HR Operations Regional Lead you will lead five market-based teams of Courier HR Operations on a mission to ensure that the courier workforce is supported in the best way.**

You will lead five teams during an exciting time for our company and you will have the opportunity to shape a global division fit for Italy, Spain, Israel, Poland and Bulgaria. This position will report to the Global Courier HR Operations Manager, based in Amsterdam. Additionally, you will develop strong links with local country leadership, including the country managers and local HRBPs. Further, you will seek to develop strong relationships with regional internal stakeholders, such as payroll to ensure couriers are supported in a responsive and high-quality manner.

It's the ideal opportunity for someone who has led supervisors, worked in a matrix organisation, or a global corporation and thrives in a high-volume, transactional environment, ideally within HR services or operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Guiding and leading our current team of supervisors who oversee 20+ Courier HR Operations Specialists, whose day-to-day activities are resolving a variety of courier issues.
- Working with Centres of Excellence to continuously standardise and automate processes around the resolution of tickets and other processes varying in complexity.
- Work collaboratively with other Operational and HR Leaders on common goals and objectives
- Cooperating with the leads of other global and local departments, external partners and holding to account SLAs
- Implementation of global standards and adapting them to the local conditions. Leading the creation of local SOPs and templates
- Monitoring of team KPIs and adherence to strict SLAs, reporting these to Global.
- Working with internal and external payroll services to ensure correct data quality and improved processes.
- Handle and guide the Courier HR Operations Team on escalated issues around courier accidents & incidents, performance, and dismissal proceedings. Coordinate with HRBPs to lead when required.
- Ensuring your team members are informed about the latest developments and changes in the department and labour law
- Contribute to ad hoc project work with the Global HR Operations, Performance and Engagement team, operations teams and HR
- Continuously search for ways to increase the internal service levels

**Profile**:

- 3-5 years experience in a leadership role.
- Experience in multi country management preferable
- Previous experience in high-volume HR services;
- Experience with general labor law is greatly preferred
- Experience managing a team and department with personnel in remote hubs, defining new processes and implementing a new solution would be appreciated
- Experience in people data systems
- Affinity working with different online systems, including GSuite
- Building strong relationships with other departments & external stakeholder
- Intercultural awareness and ideally previous experience in working within a global or multinational company
- C1 or Fluent in English is a must; proficiency in other European languages is a major plus.
